Swing into Spring- Vienna: Now or never

TV Spot: Swing into Spring

In the Footsteps of the Habsburgs

A selection of cakes

Through the narrow streets of the old city (Bräunerstrasse - Stallburggasse - Habsburgergasse - the throughway at St. Michael's Square) we reach Kohlmarkt, Vienna's most elegant shopping street. And our day ends with a leisurely visit to Demel's coffeehouse, which is rich in tradition. (1st district, Kohlmarkt 14).

The former imperial-royal court purveyor delivered fantastic delicacies to Empress Sissi who definitely had a sweet tooth despite her slim figure; one of her favorites was the mauve-colored violet ice. This establishment still delivers highest quality for sweet pastries and coffee. One look at the artfully arranged window displays says more than a thousand words. So all we need to do is to order: "Eine Wiener Melange, Herr Ober!" ("One typical Viennese coffee, headwaiter!")
