A new vegetarian restaurant opened opposite the Ronacher in December 2011. The Tian shows the diversity of meatless cooking - and at a high level. Under the motto "Experience Taste", the Tian cooks unusual and healthy ingredients: seasonal, preferably from organic farms.
The natural approach is also reflected in the restaurant's interior. The chandeliers are made from birch wood and moss; elsewhere the decoration has lots of green. On two floors, in addition to the café-restaurant there is also a takeaway market, where mostly home-made delicacies are sold.
The Tian also offers taste training sessions: on the program here are tastings, events with guest cooks and themed evenings on topics such as unusual vegetables or special cheese dairies.
