P. Pulsinger: Impassive Skies
On May 25, 2010, the Viennese music club Flex was filled to the bursting point - with visitors as well as musicians. Because many of the performers who worked on the "Impassive Skies" album played the tracks live on stage with Pulsinger, including Fennesz, G. Rizo, Abe Duque, Elektro Guzzi and Teresa Rotschopf.
Patrick Pulsinger's background is in the Austrian DJ and electronics scene, which he also made significant contributions to. His breakthrough also succeeded on an international level: Pulsinger has already worked with such legends as the Pet Shop Boys and Grace Jones.
With "Impassive Skies", Patrick Pulsinger proves that it's still possible to work creatively in a techno style. Combining "old" dancefloor music with elements of jazz, dub and funk, he is using modern production techniques to create an exciting new sound.
