Vienna's Naschmarkt is famous and popular as a place for diverse culinary delights. Only one thing was missing: a club. In the former vault of a bank, a young, dedicated team has now opened the club, Market, modeled after the Naschmarkt.
The design is charming, the prices moderate and the crowd feels really good at the bar and on the dance floor. Behind the DJ desk, futuristic visuals by a team of artists called Bildwerk are projected onto individual ashlars. Looked at from the dance floor, this produces fascinating images.
Fans of electronic sounds get their full money's worth at Market. In the foreground are genres such as Techno, House, Disco and Dubstep. During the week, there are jazz evenings, Indie clubs and live concerts. It's the perfect place to hit Vienna's nightlife after the culinary delights of Naschmarkt and enjoy some carefree dancing.
