For more than a decade now, the Wirr on Burggasse in Vienna's 7th district has been famous for its excellent, low-priced food and its comfortable atmosphere between changing exhibitions by local artists oh the walls and a game of tabletop football. Those who like it slightly heavier are best served one floor down.
The recently stylishly renovated and aptly named "Untergrund" (underground) has established itself as an integral component of Vienna's newly strengthened Electro-Rock clubscape in recent years. On Friday and Saturday nights, selected local DJ teams turn the place upside down with their bold mix of everything danceable.
